About Marsha Casper Cook
My name is Marsha Casper Cook. I write books for adults and young readers, and I host Writers Talk. Romance, children's stories, memoir, and screenwriting give me different ways to look at relationships, families, and the choices people make.
What I write
Many of my adult stories center on relationships, family, and second chances. The Warrington Legacy and Virginia Templeton stories carry those relationships across a series, while books such as Dinner at the Deli, Guilty Pleasures, and Love Changes stand on their own.
For younger readers, I have written stories and poems, including The Magical Leaping Lizard Potion, I Wish I Was a Brownie, and The Busy Bus. Those books have their own section here, separate from the adult catalog. To Life: A Young Holocaust Survivor's Journey to Freedom also has a dedicated place because its subject calls for a quieter introduction than the fiction around it.
The catalog includes both series and standalone work. The Warrington Legacy runs across three books and a complete collection. Virginia Templeton appears in three stories and an omnibus. Some titles have also appeared under earlier names or in earlier editions. Each book page identifies that history when it helps a reader find the right book.
On this site, I have organized the books the way I hope readers will look for them: connected series together, standalone work together, and children's titles on their own shelf. Earlier editions are treated as history, not extra titles. That matters because several works have changed names or covers over time.
Writers Talk
I also host Writers Talk. The podcast gives writers and other guests room to discuss books, craft, collaboration, and the practical decisions behind finished work. Its public Spreaker archive includes conversations dating back to 2011. The Podcast page keeps the player small and gives new listeners a short, reviewed place to begin.
