Standalone fiction and romance

Grand Central Station

A former child psychologist enters Victoria's noisy family life and discovers that romance comes with the whole household attached.

About the book

Jack leaves his career as a child psychologist to pursue writing. His plans change when he meets Victoria Feingold, a woman whose family life runs at full speed. Victoria has three children, a demanding mother, an eccentric sister, and Angus, a talking dog who supplies commentary and advice.

Jack falls for Victoria and soon finds himself living inside the family's daily confusion, trying to understand its routines and keep pace with everyone in the house. Then Victoria's ex-husband returns, hoping to win her back. An injury leads to him moving in as well, placing the old relationship and the new one under the same roof. Jack has to choose between the tidy life he imagined and the crowded, accident-prone family he has come to love.
